Some wonderful batting performance was shown by Ravi Rampaul and Lendl Simmons.

Meanwhile, West Indies Bowler Ravi Rampaul scored his maiden fifty off just 35 balls to revive the West Indies innings after Indian bowlers reduced the visitors to 170/9 in 35.6 overs in the second ODI of the five-match series at the ACA-VDCA in Vizag.

Rampaul smashed 86 runs from just 66 balls with 6 fours and 6 sixes.

After the superb opening spell by the Indian bowlers, West Indies had managed to score a huge score in front of India.

However, Indian bowlers started that day with nice bowling and Vinay Kumar and Umesh Yadav was followed up by a determined show from Ravindra Jadeja as West Indies find themselves in a precarious situation in the second ODI against India at Vizag.

Jadeja claimed two wickets, that of Darren Sammy and Andre Russell to destroy any semblance of a counter from the visitors. This after seamers Umesh Yadav and Vinay Kumar shared the first five wickets to ensure West Indies were kept under serious pressure.

India won the toss and elected to bowl first in 2nd ODI
