Today will be a big threatening day for Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani as he faces charge against serious crime for contempt in Supreme Court.

Supreme Court insisted that Gilani accused for the ruling out of contempt charges over the government’s two-year refusal to ask Swiss authorities to re-open graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

On charges ranging from corruption to murder, Zardari whose nickname is “Mr 10%”, has already spent 11 years in jail.

Zardari and his late wife, Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, were suspected in the money laundry cases. They were accused of using Swiss authorities to launder about $12 million paid by companies seeking customs inspection contracts in Pakistan in the 1990s.
Gilani had appealed against Court’s order to be “unjustified” and he also argued that the president – who denies the corruption charges – has immunity as head of state.

But the court has rejected his appeal and warned that if he refused to write letter to Swiss authorities to re-open graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardar, then he convicted under contempt charges.

And Gilani may pay its cost by his job along with faces six months in jail. He may force elections within months in a country.

As per source report, for down stepping any volcanic incident attempted by protesters, the govt. has arranged amid tight security in Islamabad’s “Red Zone”. Under this the Supreme Court, presidency and prime minister’s office and residence are located for accessing fair hearing on both sides.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will only drop the summons if Gilani obeys its order to write to the Swiss authorities, asking them to re-open the cases.

Gilani who will be presented today before SC, is ready to lose his seat in the parliament though step down from this.

He said if he convicted, he would not supposed to be even the member of the parliament.
