Sachin visits Matoshree a day after Bal Thackeray’s cremation

A day after Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray was cremated, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar paid a condolence visit to the Thackeray family on Monday.

Meanwhile, the cricketer Sachin Tendulkar went to Matoshree with wife Anjali on Monday bight.

Sachin was playing cricket against England at Ahmedabad when Bal Thackeray passed away on last Saturday.

However, Sachin had said that he was saddened to hear about Thackeray’s demise, and he would always be remembered and missed.

The cricketer said, “Really sad to hear about Balasaheb’s demise. His contribution to Maharashtra was immense. It’s a terrible loss and he will always be remembered and missed. Unfortunately I am in Ahmedabad as I would have liked to pay my last respects personally. My condolences to his family. May God rest his soul in peace.”
