India to test fire Agni-5 missile today

In yet another achievement in missile technology and military deterrent capability, this fast growing super power country, India will go for a test fire its 5,000 km range Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Agni-5 today from a test range off the coast of Odisha.

India successful tests supersonic AAD-05 missile

The supersonic AAD-05 was tested and it proved to be a finest mission. The interceptor missile AAS-05 was first time launched.

And it tested from the Wheeler Island off the Odisha coast.

Its launching in deliverable user configuration and full deployment mode was successfully ‘killing’ an incoming ballistic missile at an altitude of nearly 15 km over the Bay of Bengal.

The targeted missile a modified version of ‘Prithvi’ was launched from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur.

Agni-V will be tested soon, says DRDO

An explosive detonator that make successful take off of Agni-V, the 5,000-km nuclear range missile, has invented by Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), a DRDO lab in Chandigarh.

As per report of Chief Controller R&D (Missiles and Strategic Systems) at DRDO, Avinash Chander, Agni-V is in the final phase of testing. However launching date will not be defined but it will be launched very soon. Prediction is made that Agni-V may be launched on next month.

Although the missile of having wide range capability has already spreads its affect in South Asia, now this has been tested in India by TBRL, the lab of Chandigarh city. Read the rest of this entry…
