To make sure the safety of the Gangetic river dolphin, dolphins in the Ganga, the chief minister Nitish Kumar held a meeting with deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi along with other minister of the state wildlife board to proposed a revised plan of setting up Asia’s first Dolphin Research Centre in Patna.

New ISRO centre will monitor spy satellite launch

As per science field report, the new upcoming Remote Sensing Satellite, Risat-1 that will be launched this month will now under full control and monitor by the new ISRO at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, a senior official of spice agency said.

Source says, this new modern spy satellite has larger area to accommodate as many as space scientists and other VIPs.

This high imaging capability satellite is likely to be used for defence purposes, delivering high resolution and microwave imaging, that also help in disaster prediction and agriculture forestry.

New Delhi set to host ‘Earth Hour’ on March 31

It is said in reports that more than 1000 cyclists will take part in the event and cycled 8 km from WWF-India along Lodi Road. Many more respected personalities will take part in the event as volunteers who stood along the way holding placards calling ‘Earth Hour’.

A 17 year old young Kirtana Vallabhaneni a student of West Kirby Grammar School named the UK Young Scientist of the Year as the prize award at The Big Bang Fair at Birmingham’s NEC on Friday.
