Today, the political parties whether Congress or BJP, all are putting full force of power to getting support of voters through their rallies in UP.
Today is the last day for them to campaign for first phase assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh where voting will begin on February 8, contesting 55 assembly seats across 10 districts.
Top leaders of parties are ready for campaigning, getting support of voters before the first phase of voting. Amongst them, 40 years old Rahul Gandhi is on the top of list. He is planned to address rallies for election on Varanasi and Ghazipur, while Priyanka Gandhi tour only Raebareli and Amethi.
BSP chief and Chief Minister Mayawati has selected Kushinagar and Gorakhpur to address rallies, while BJP senior leader LK Advani is scheduled to address a rally in Lucknow today.
On the same day, BJP President Nitin Gadkari and star campaigner Uma Bharti has decided campaign. However Gadkari will be in Balia and Ghazipur and Uma will in Gonda, Siddharth Nagar and Faizabad.
However, UP state is seeking an intensified scene as major competition between BJP and Congress, and both are trying to addressing campaign in all districts without missing any opportunity.
Each party is trying to defend its clean image in the nation and defining that they all are work for the welfare of people of country. Campaigning in Varanasi, Gandhi has informed the gathering that the Congress would not enter into a post-poll alliance with parties that represented by unlawful elements.
Congress would be free from corrupt ministers as like those who are grooves and thieves.
In counter argument on Gandhi’s saying, BJP leader Rajnath brought the issue of 2G scam and claimed that BSP and Samajwadi Party, both extended their support to Congress whose ministers were being sent to jail in the 2G spectrum scam and prices of essential commodities were going out of control.
