Odisha legislator Jhina Hikaka, MLA of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA has been in Maoist hostage for a month, abducted from Laxmipur in Koraput on March 24, will be free by 10 am on Thursday, a source says.
Report says that 37-year-old Hikaka who has been asked to quit MLA post after release, is likely to be presented in the Maoists’ ‘people’s court’ Wednesday where his fate would be decided.

Finally defeated UPA Govt. won its toughest battle in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday by margin of 105 members’ votes over the violent issue of National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC).
The contest over NCTC resulted the defeat of BJP and Left Party’s amendments that followed by them on motion of thanks to President Pratibha Patil’s address to the two houses of parliament.
