Anna Hazare 300x266 Anna Hazare to get Rs 25 lakh award for rural developmentThe Social activist Anna Hazare will get the award for his betterment he did for the rural development of the country, at an event in Delhi on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the award will be handed over to Anna Hazare by Delhi’s Lt Governor’s Tejinder Khanna with Rs 25 lakh prize and a citation.

In the interim, Team Anna will hold their core committee meeting also in the city in the second half of the day.

Anna Hazare returned to his native village Ralegan Siddhi on Feb 18 with core committee member Arvind Kejriwal.

Anna Hazare is going through an ayurvedic treatment at a hospital in Bangalore for persistent cough, backache and swelling on hands and feet.

anna hazare 284x300 I am fully fit and ready to fight now: Anna HazareThe Social Activist, Anna Hazare is coming back to start once again anti-corruption campaigning with a full force of power.

Mr. Hazare’s health is now improved and he is fully fit as reportedly said on Saturday.

Mr. Hazare was suffering from persistent cough, backache and swelling on hands, feet and face and his treatment had performed at Jindal Ayurvedic hospital in Bangalore on January 31.

Before taking ayurvedic treatment, Mr. Hazare went to Medanta Medicity in Gurgaon for a thorough check-up. The doctors had advised him at least a month’s rest and asked him to desist from undertaking fasts.

But now while returning to his native village Ralegan Siddhi on Saturday, he announced to resume his anti-corruption crusade and the fight for a strong Lokpal.
Despite saying about his future course of action, Mr. Hazare only confined, “I am fully fit and ready to fight now.”

Today Rahul Gandhi is in Varanasi and addressing a rally in which he rejected his “obsession to become the Prime Minister”.

Rahul said, “All the political leaders in India, all the top ones, have an obsession with prime ministership. This is not Rahul Gandhi’s obsession. I have another obsession.”

Gandhi defined his obsession with the Uttar Pradesh and wants to transform it by improving state’s condition by working for it that has not happened from last 22 years by successive regimes.

Anna Hazare arrives New Delhi for medical treatment

Today Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare has left for Delhi for further detailed medical treatment and he would be admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon.

Mr. Hazare had been suffering from persisting cough and back-pain for one month ago and doctors strictly advised him to take rest at least one month.

However for proper medical check up, he heads to Delhi, it is expected that Anna is planning to go to Haridwar for Ayurvedic treatment through Baba Ramdev’s Centre.

Gali Gali Chor Hai 231x300 Special screening of ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ for Anna HazareAnna Hazare, the social activist watched the Bollywood movie “ Gali Gali Chor Hai” last night in his native village Ralegan Siddhi by screening held near the Shantiniketan ground and he was satisfied with the story of film.

Along with film’s crew Actors Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Mugdha Godse, director Rumi Jafferey and producers Nitin Manmohan and Sanjay Punamija, Anna saw the entire film that ended at 10pm despite of his ill health because the film is deal with corruption for which removal Anna is fighting.

A core committee member, Datta Awari informed reporters, “”Anna agreed to watch the film despite ill health as it deals with corruption. “

He added, “Gali Gali Chor Hai is a political satire about a common man’s fight against corruption. So, it makes sense to show it to Anna Hazare who has become the national face of a common man fighting corruption.”

Due to Social activist Anna Hazare’s ill health, the campaign against five bound states poll had been postponed.

After that all are waiting for Anna’s next steps to be forward, Now the core committee of Anna’s Team has decided to campaign for UP elections from Faizabad next month.

It will be scheduled on 3 February, just 5 days before first phase of elections of February 8. However the work would be started on next month by organizing different programme that led to contacting with people or voters.

Through these programme the Anna Team will tried to encourage voters and create awareness regarding their right to ask questions from the candidates instead of being made a part of caste or communal factors.
