On Thursday, India recorded a successful launching of Agni-5, Indian homemade nuclear-capable missile that has a strike range of over 5,000 kilometers.
This test is appreciated by all developing countries of world and China also reacted cautiously and ensured to have deep relations with India, not a rival.
Liu Weimin, official source of Chinese Foreign Ministry said, “China has taken note of reports on India’s missile launch. The two countries have sound relationship.”
During BRICS dialogue, delegations of both nations showed a positive reaction over future better relations and bilateral strategic cooperative partnership
However, it has been said that Indian’s test of Agni-5 intercontinental ballistic missile can push another round of arms race in the region.
While asking about impact of testing of Agni V in China, Liu insisted that duo nations are reservoir of emerging nuclear powers. “We are not rivals. We are cooperative partners. We should cherish the hard-earned momentum of cooperation,” he said.
This homemade missile launching is also praised by United States with a suggestion to make control over its nuclear-capability, so that explosive actions have to be discourage that may stabilize the South Asia region.
Although no criticism from side of U.S. for Indian missile testing unlike a strong condemnatory over the rocket launch by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)last week.
While India test-fired a long-range missile, Jay Carney, the White House spokesman told reporters, “We urge all nuclear-capable states to exercise restraint regarding nuclear and missile capabilities, and continue to discourage actions that might destabilize the South Asia region.”
Meanwhile, successful testing of Agni V intercontinental ballistic missile now once again prove India’s nuclear- capability power and make a space between global international countries.
