According to the provision of law, all members of the Jat community, who had been arrested during the course of the agitation, would be released, Haryana’s Chief parliamentary Scretary Dharamveer Singh reportedly said.
This statement to resolve the deadlock came after a three-hour long talk held between the Jats, khap members and Haryana government’s representatives including Dharamveer, along with Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s OSD M S Chopra and fortmer Hisar MP Jai Parkash.
Such compromise between Jats and Haryana government over the arrests made while govt. agreed to head the demands of reservation for Jats towards a resolution with the authorities deciding to release the detenus.
Source reported that all demands of Jat on reservation under OBC quota would forward by the Haryana government to the Centre as soon as it receives the recommendation of the state backweard class commission’s report for Jat.
In return govt. wants from agitators to maintain peace, harmony and not submit to any provocation.
Appealing to voice aspiration in peaceful, Hoonda said, “All problems can be solved only by dialogue as violence will never help.”
Further reported that Sandeep would be cremated tomorrow, who was killed in the alleged police firing during clashes between police and protesters on March 6.
