According to the latest reports from the world of cricket, the master blaster from India, Sachin Tendulkar makes a comeback for the tri-series in Australia.
Sachin has been selected in the expected 17-members of the team India. Sachin Tendulkar will now target to get his 100th international hundred in the tri-series which is set to start from February 5 to March 8 this year.
MS Dhoni will be leading the team India in the tri-series as well as the two Twenty20 match against Australia on February 1 in Sydney and on February 3 in Melbourne.
With the names announced for the tri-series in Australia, Sachin Tendulkar will get more chances to get his 100th international hundred in Australia if he fails to hit the landmark in the final test match in Adelaide later this month.
MS Dhoni & Cop. Has lost the third test match in Perth by an innings and 37 runs and now down the four test match series with 3-0.
Meanwhile, this is the 7th successive defeat for team India abroad, earlier they lost to England 4-0 in England in 2011.
The master blaster from India has 18,111 runs in 453 one-day matches with 48 centuries includes the first-ever double-century in one-day cricket, an unbeaten 200 against South Africa in Gwalior in February 2010.
He was the star performer in India’s World Cup victory, with 482 runs in nine matches, second only to Sri Lankan Tillakaratne Dilshan’s 500 runs in as many games.
Although there is no space for World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh in the team, as his name is not announced in the last 17.
Medium fast-bowler Ishant Sharma is not included in ODI team, and Praveen Kumar and Irfan Pathan are named in the team.
