Janata Party chief Subramaniam Swamy who had claimed that P Chidambaram and A Raja both were in fixing 2 G scam, is now in behalf of opposition party, demanding to rescue the Union Home Minister, P.Chidambaram, from both houses of Parliament.
However on the Swamy’s petition, the CBI handed over the all documents to him that it got related to P. Chitambaram. And CBI court allowed Swamy to recall himself as a witness to prove Chidambaram’s alleged in the 2G spectrum allocation in 2007-08.
While asking Law Minister Salman Khurshid about it, he ignoring Swamy’s plea, said the court had not passed any order against Chidambaram and that it was a procedural step to allow Swamy a right to be heard on his complaint.
“There is nothing in the court order that raises any questions about Chidambaram or the government,” Khurshid added.
However the only one issue that was published in both Lok Sabha nad Rajya Sabha, was home minister’s alleged involvement in the 2G scam.
Both BJP and NDA opposition Party were demanding and their slogan was to boycott Chidambaram in Parliament.
Although one decision had been taken by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) that there should be boycott of Chidambaram in starting period of parliament winter session and Murli Manohar Joshi said, “In this situation, Chidambaram should submit his resignation on his own, or else Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) should sack him.”
But all this had been done in absence of Home Minister P. Chidambaram who did not answer to media questions and walk out silently from the place.
