Microsoft rolls-out new global delivery unit in Bangalore

As per the recent reports, Microsoft has announced that the company launched a new global delivery center in the hub of Bangalore’s business place, growing its global consulting as well as enterprise services operation in the country.

While talking to media about the opening of new global center, an official from the company said, the Bangalore team will assist Microsoft Services in taking care of business as well as other important applications for some of the world’s major firms in over 65 countries.

Further, talking to media, Microsoft Consulting Services Business general manager Kristin Johnson said, “Microsoft Services brings the deepest expertise on Microsoft technologies to help customers plan, deploy and run their IT landscapes. It was with this in mind that Microsoft invested in the centre at Hyderabad six years ago, and today, with a clear idea of growing our presence in India, we are happy to be in Bangalore,”.

In the meantime, Microsoft Services global delivery units here work on major projects of Microsoft products and technologies such as Office 365, Windows 7 deployment, Azure and Data Centre Services, among others.

The Bangalore unit will organize future-ready Microsoft solutions and assist businesses become conscious for their complete potential through the productive use of Microsoft software and services.

Talking to media, Microsoft Consulting Services Business’ General Manager Amit Sircar said, “In six short years, Global Delivery (Hyderabad) has been assessed at SEI CMMI Level 5, and we hope to maintain and improve this reputation for excellence with a group of highly motivated people in Bangalore.”
