The West Bengal where the Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress party has settled from last seven month now widens in the bare fight between the Congress in West Bengal and the Trinamool Congress.
However the initial stage from where it started is the Mamata Banerjee’s proposal to Congress to rename Indira Bhavan after a revolutionary Bengal poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
But all the party leaders are getting against the government by protesting for allegedly not providing the basic crop procurement price to farmers.
In front of Media, West Bengal Pradesh Congress President, Pradip Bhattacharya said, “There is a lack of conception of the government. They don’t know how to run and how to rule and what system to be applied.”
For its offence, Trinamool govt. respond to set the point on Congress that the crop prices were set by the Centre and the Congress was conspiring with the Left to malign the government.
Now TMC is facing a tough situation by criticizing not from the Opposition Left, but from the Congress also. Congress party leaders are claiming that TMC is changing its side and giving support to Left on the Lokpal issue in Parliament.
In a statement Deepa Dasmunshi, Congress Leader, West Bengal, reported, “It is not the Congress but the TMC… not once but many times, holding hands with the Left Front. She is the B-team of the CPM, not the Congress.”
Meanwhile all such drama that is staged will create bitterness and harassment between both and ultimately hit the alliance at the Centre.
Targeting the Mamta, the Cong high command is trying to encourage its state leadership after she stalled key UPA policies. But the Trinamool has warned the Congress with severe consequences. In an aggressive way, Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, a TMC MP said, “If they pamper the state party to stage such dramas and more dramas in future, it will unnecessarily create bitterness which we do not want to have.”
Measures this new spat in the Congress-TMC relationship would continue until the UP elections are over. Changes of settle down the matter may increase at the time when the President’s elections which are due in July this year, comes.
