No role of P Chidambaram detected in 2G Case: Supreme Court

Amid of assembly election campaign for UP, the dismissal of Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy’s plea against Home Minister P. Chidambaram by the CBI special court is really a joyful moment as a part of which celebrated by Congress party.

By refusing the Swamy’s plea, the CBI court has ruled, “There was no sufficient ground in Dr. Swamy’s plea for seeking the prosecution of Mr. Chidambaram, though he was party to keeping the 2G spectrum prices in 2008 at the 2001 levels and dilution of equity by two companies before the rollout of services.”

Decision in favour of Chidambaram would be really a winning fact for the UPA government and the Congress party which were under the pressure of its impact on assembly election.

But Swamy will not be stop there and will be going on with his fight against accused persons. He said that he would go to another court with his plea seeking the prosecution of Chidambaram.

Along with Swamy, many BJP leaders are also who go with him in a support of be fight. Ravi Shankar Prasad, spokesperson of BJP Party confirmed to have sufficient evidence against Chidambaram that inescapable his moral culpability for all the wrong doings in the 2G scam.

Demanding the boycott of Chidambaram from Parliament, the party leader has already targeted him. And now when Chidambaram being went out from the 2G case, the party is planning to move the case to the High Court and then to the Supreme Court, if necessary.

Union ministers Pranab Mukherjee and telecom Minister, Kapil Sibal praised the court’s decision in favour of Chidambaram and they both stated against the BJP’s action in 2G scam.

Kapil Sibal insisted that BJP has been flogging the issue of Chidabaram’s accusation over 2G scam, however as per court’s decision there is never any case against Chidambaram.

As like Kapil, Pranabh Mukherjee also supported Chidambaram at this juncture that has an added political significance against the issue of a note emanating from the finance ministry.
