According to science field report, China launched a high-resolution remote-sensing satellite for civilian use on Monday.
This satellite is launched from its Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre in Shanxi province.
A statement released from the centre, “The satellite – Ziyuan III satellite – is tasked with offering services to aid the country’s land-resources surveys, natural-disaster prevention, agriculture development, water-resources management, and urban planning.”
With 2650 kg weight, above 500km of the earth the satellite entered an orbit about 12 minutes after it was launched.
As per the source report, the satellite was launched aboard a Long March 4B rocket that also carried a satellite from Luxembourg.
